Tinkering

Ginny is good. Hazel is beautiful. More to come.

Sorry about posting the video again. I am exploring video podcasts, more for my knowledge then anything.

However, feedburner is up and working.

More soon.

Hello
I just watched your sons video and I am so touched. We have a daughter that has been in hospital for 5 months. When she was born they told us she had trisomy 18. After testing it showed that she did not have it. She has something but they are not sure what it is. lately things have been so frustrating because we have no diagnosis and I am constantly worried about tomorrow. Your video has reminded me that I must enjoy her today and don't worry about tomorrow. Every day we have her is a blessing. Thank you for sharing your story. There is a chance that our daughter may come home next week. I am scared and excited at the same time. We have had many life threatning moments so it is scary not to have the crutch of the hospital 24 hours a day. We just need to trust that God is in control and He loves her just as much as we do.
Thank you.

I'm a nurse but I'll admit my coworkers told me to do this when I was a first time mom who was scared to take my daughter for shots. Give infant Tylenol about 30 minutes before your appt. If you aren't sure of the dose, the dr's office usually has handouts from the company on what dose to give based on the appropriate weight. Or you can wait until you get there, ask the amount and give it. Usually they then do the assessment with the dr. and the shots are last. This also helps the baby with the soreness hours after. You can redose once before bed if enough time has elapsed and they are fine in the morning. It just adds a little comfort. If you've ever had the flu shot you know how sore your arm can get. It is a little thing that can help them. Congrats on Hazel by the way! I'm so happy for you both.
